SERIOUS ABOUT NOISE
We've always been passionate about the musicality of technology. Anything that makes noise is a very special thing indeed, but we as a company come from a musical background. We like making stuff we can play, have fun with and get inspired by. Otherwise, for us, there really is no point. Having worked in the music manufacturing sector for most of our lives, we know how to make products well and we can't wait to show you what is round the corner in the PWM timeline. Paul Whittington set the company up and hasn't looked back. The team is expanding and we are tantalisingly close to presenting our product portfolio.
PAUL
Paul has a healthy knowledge of the music manufacturing process. With past lives in Evolution Electronics, M-Audio, Avid, Focusrite and Novation, he has been directly involved in countless products that have famously been featured in studio and live industries. Aside from his Product Management experience, he is a passionate synthesis designer and professional keys player, with appearances on radio and television. With so much knowledge and expertise in the music industry, Paul has finally launched PWM, by hand picking the best industry specialists to develop the innovative and exciting products soon to reach the public. A doting husband and proud father of two, Paul, when not doing the family thing is mainly found in his man cave – fiddling, plotting and scheming.
BEN

Hardware: CE- and FCC-compliant mixed-signal schematic design and PCB layout (Altium Designer and Zuken Cadstar).

Firmware: specialities are C, ARM assembler, and DSP development. I’ve delivered many solo and team-based firmware projects.

I’ve built commercial projects using VHDL, C++ (JUCE), C#, XC, and a lot of other languages. I’m familiar with the usual tools for safe collegiate working (SVN, Git).

Music tech is where I learned my trade. I’m a classically-trained pianist, so it’s been a good way to deploy those skills. At least four of my products have featured as a Sound On Sound cover image.
TIMMY
Timmy is the Creative Director of PWM. With a history of music production, owning and running a recording studio, and filming shedloads of content for numerous businesses Timmy is always up to his nuts in something creative and inspiring. He currently owns and runs www.timmyshotme.com and loves making hip hop. Timmy has been working for PWM for the last four years and has assisted in building the brand identity and creating stupid yet engaging content for the community.

ADAM
Adam lives in Salisbury with his wife, a young child and 3 dogs. He has spent the majority of the last 25 years
designing barking mad stuff with the genius that is Tim Orr, from the Sound Beam II to cutting edge NDT equipment. He first met Paul in 1998 when doing some work for Evolution Electronics and now he finds himself in the privileged position of designing mad stuff for him!
